From a monogram on a white dance floor, to elegant customized signage and black and white anemones, it was truly a Knight to remember.

Their efforts ranged from hammered copper trees and handmade living grass trays, down to suspended yarn mobiles—all in a vibrant color scheme of green, ivory and black.

With Drew and Lindsay both having careers in design, it was only natural that their wedding would be full of original details that reflected the nature of their personalities and their love for one another. The bride chose ivories, corals and greens, reminiscent of a spring garden for her colors, and florist Brenda McLamb incorporated white, peach and coral calalillies, tulips, roses, ranunculus, green hosta leaves and flexigrass throughout the space.

Cortney said, “At first, I didn’t want a winter wedding, but the timing worked that way, and the first thing I thought when I had a January date was Gatsby.” She giggled, adding, “Gatsby without the feathers. I wanted it to be classy!”

Their wedding had a timeless, vintage romance feel, with a soft color palate, cursive script, lace, roses and hydrangeas, and antique skeleton key details.

From their sweet handwritten vows, to their nontraditional music (Sarah Rose walked down the aisle to the classic oldies hit “Going to the Chapel of Love,”) to hula hooping, their wedding was ironically them.

Anne and Colin’s wedding was a classy affair. They are high school sweethearts, with Colin being a year older than Anne. Before he was set to leave for college, he assured her their relationship was more than just high school. They remained together and seven years later
