EASTERN MUSIC FESTIVAL
Our sister, O.Henry Hotel is delighted to be an Official Hotel of the wonderful Eastern Music Festival in Greensboro. Each summer, for five glorious weeks, the our area is transformed for music enthusiasts of all ages whose tastes range from classical to jazz to bluegrass to rock and everything in between. Concerts and events happen daily.
The internationally recognized Eastern Music Festival will produce over 100 events – everything from Grammy-winning classical soloists with symphony orchestra (three resident orchestras to choose from) – to two chamber series, and including the EMF fringe series.
North Carolina FOLK FESTIVAL
A large-scale, three-day outdoor event presented free to the public, the North Carolina Folk Festival celebrates the roots, richness, and variety of American culture. It features over 300 of the states’s finest traditional musicians, dancers, and craftspeople in performances, workshops, and demonstrations, plus children’s activities, savory Southern and ethnic cuisines and craft brews, non-stop participatory dancing, storytelling, parades, and more.
GREENSBORO SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
Hear Masterworks, Chamber and POPS concerts led by Maestro Dmitry Sitkovetsky and featuring guest conductors and artists from around the world. The Masterworks, Chamber, POPS, Education and Holiday concerts offer something for all music lovers.
GUILFORD COLLEGE BRYAN SERIES
Guilford College’s Bryan Series enriches the educational and cultural experience for residents of Greensboro and the central North Carolina region with provocative speaker programs featuring well-known figures in the arts, humanities and public affairs.
17DAYS ARTS FESTIVAL
We are excited to partner with Arts Greensboro for the 17DAYS Festival. In just a few years, 17DAYS Festival has become the largest collaborative arts festival of its kind in North Carolina. More than 50 presenters, arts organizations, venues, colleges, individual artists and museums present 100-plus events taking place in September to October each year at venues across the city. Hosted by ArtsGreensboro, the Festival was created in 2011 to fuel arts participation and draw cultural visitors.
TRIAD STAGE
A professional, not-for-profit regional theatre, named “one of the best regional theatres in America” by New York’s Drama League, featuring the best and timeliest of classic, contemporary and new theatrical works. Drama and comedy are presented in a 300-seat live performance theatre in Greensboro’s downtown historic district.
COMMUNITY THEATRE OF GREENSBORO
Celebrating 50 years of presenting Broadway plays and musicals, the Community Theatre offers exciting theatrical seasons filled with smash musicals, hilarious comedies and classic dramas. The classic “The Wizard of Oz” has become a fall tradition.

“Hillside” was originally built in 1929 for Julian Price, president of Jefferson Standard Life Insurance, by the famed architect Charles Hartmann. The historic home is now listed as a county landmark and is also on the National Register of Historic Places. This home will proudly host 28 designers a they transform each space to their own, while maintaining this history and emphasizing the interior architecture. The esteemed mansion is a showstopper with rough stucco, herringbone brick,false-half timbered walls massive brick chimneys with articulated flues and clay pots, and an symmetrical massing of gables, wall dormers and stair tower.
